Technical Committees

Technical Committees (TCs) focus on the sciences of particular interest to our Society members and are currently being formed in targeted areas of biomedical engineering. Over the coming months, descriptions of other TCs will be placed on our website. A TC will coordinate conference, publication and member development and outreach activities within a particular area of scientific/technical excellence.

Questions on Technical Committee formation and mission can be sent to John Clark.

The following Technical Committees have now been formed (click on a link to view committee activity and reports):

  • Wearable biomedical sensors and systems
  • Biosignal processing (link does not currently exist)
  • Medical imaging and processing (link does not currently exist)
  • Neural engineering (link does not currently exist)
  • Microtechnologies (link does not currently exist)
  • Biorobotics (link does not currently exist)
