In response to rapid developments in biomedical engineering and to better serve its members, the IEEE EMB Society has created Biomedical Engineering Letters (BME Letters), a manuscript format in the IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering.
BME Letters seeks contributions that are novel, timely and have high impact. Submissions are subject to the same stringent peer review process as all T-BME manuscripts, are accessible in IEEE Xplore under a special link within two months of submission, and appear later in printed form in independent supplements of IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering.
BME Letters manuscripts may not be longer than four printed pages. BME Letters will only implement one cycle review in order to e-publish accepted papers within two months of submission. A letter submission may be triaged immediately so the authors will receive immediate feedback. A decision will be made immediately following the one-cycle review: accept, reject, or accept with minor corrections. Submit your research to BME Letters at T-BME through Manuscript Central:
